Changing your Mind (or How Does Your Mind Change?)

Bowen Center faculty member, the Rev. Ed Henley, will be looking at human thinking and perception. Copernicus dared to see things differently as he examined earlier data. One hundred and forty-four years later, most of the world agreed with him. Shifts in frame of reference are challenging to the human mind, especially considering the predictive processing that forms human perception. We tend to see what we have always seen unless something jars that perception. Bowen theory does that when we discover we are not the center of the universe!
